Common questions.

If yours is not here, ask us on Discord.

Is Clypse free to use?

Yes. The free plan covers one full video with watermarked downloads, no card required. Pro is $14.99/month for up to 50 clips a month with no watermark. Yearly billing and the bigger Studio plan are on the pricing page.

How do credits work?

Credits pay for the videos you scan, and long streams cost less: a 30-minute video is 30 credits, a 1-hour video 60, a 3-hour stream 90 and a 6-hour stream 135. Pro's 200 credits a month are enough for 6 videos (30 min each) or 2 streams (3 hrs each). You see the exact price before every scan. A video under 10 minutes counts as 10. Unused plan credits roll over for up to 2 months.

What platforms does Clypse work with?

Clypse works with Twitch, Kick, YouTube, and Rumble. Paste your VOD or video URL and Clypse finds the best moments and returns vertical clips for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.

How does Clypse know which moments are worth clipping?

Clypse looks for reaction signals, audio changes, visual framing, and complete story beats. Finished clips are scored and sorted so you can review the strongest moments first.

How long does it take to clip a stream?

Most YouTube, Twitch and Kick videos are done in about 10 to 15 minutes, and the first clips show up on your results page while the rest are still rendering. Uploads take longer, usually around half an hour. You get an email the moment everything is ready.

How long can my video be?

Free scans the first 30 minutes of one video (the video itself can be up to 2 hours long, and you choose which 30 minutes). Pro scans videos up to 6 hours, at 1 credit per minute scanned.

Can I change the captions and the clip style?

Yes. Clypse offers several caption styles, from bold animated word-by-word captions to clean subtitles and gaming fonts, and you can change colours, position and layout. Pro adds custom fonts and branding.

Do free clips have a watermark?

Free clips carry a Clypse watermark. Pro and Studio export at 1080p with no watermark at all. Your content, your brand.

Can Clypse post the clips for me?

Yes. Clypse can schedule and post your clips to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. Posting is included on Pro and Studio, with unlimited posts across connected accounts.
